وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَٱسْتَبَقُوا۟ ٱلصِّرَٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ

EnglishSaheeh International: And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see?
TamilJan Trust Foundation: நாம் நாடியிருந்தால், நாம் அவர்களுடைய கண்களைப் போக்கியிருப்போம்; அப்பொழுது (அவர்கள் தப்பும்) வழிதேடி ஓடினால் அவர்கள் எதைப் பார்ப்பார்கள்?
SinhalaRuwwad Center: තවද අපි අභිමත කරන්නේ නම් ඔවුන්ගේ ඇස් මත අන්ධභාවය ඇති කරන්නට තිබුණි. එවිට එම මාර්ගය වෙත ඔවුහු තරඟකාරී ලෙස යොමු වෙති. එවිට ඔවුන් කෙසේ නම් දකිනු ඇත් ද?
UrduMaulana Muhammad Junagarhi: اگر ہم چاہتے تو ان کی آنکھیں بے نور کر دیتے پھر یہ رستے کی طرف دوڑتے پھرتے لیکن انہیں کیسے دکھائی دیتا؟
JapaneseRyoichi Mita: われが望めば，かれらの両目を盲目にすることが出来る。かれらは（天国への）道を先んじようとするが，どうして見通すことが出来ようか。
ChineseMa Jian: 假若我意欲，我必毁灭他们的眼睛，然后他们忙着走路，但他们怎能看见呢？

Tafsir of 36:66

هَذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ (This is Hell which you were promised!) meaning, `this is what the Messengers warned you about, and you did not believe them.' اصْلَوْهَا الْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ (Burn (enter) therein this Day, for that you used to disbelieve). This is like the Ayah: يَوْمَ يُدَعُّونَ إِلَى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا - هَذِهِ النَّارُ الَّتِى كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ - أَفَسِحْرٌ هَذَا أَمْ أَنتُمْ لاَ تُبْصِرُونَ (The Day when they will be pushed down by force to the fire of Hell, with a horrible, forceful pushing. This is the Fire which you used to belie. Is this magic or do you not see) (52:13-15) The Mouths of the Disbelievers will be sealed on the Day of Resurrection الْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَى أَفْوَهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْسِبُونَ (This Day, We shall seal up their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their legs will bear witness to what they used to earn.) eThis will be the state of the disbelievers and hypocrites on the Day of Resurrection, when they deny the sins they committed in this world and swear that they did not do that.…
