ٱلَّذِينَ يُظَـٰهِرُونَ مِنكُم مِّن نِّسَآئِهِم مَّا هُنَّ أُمَّهَـٰتِهِمْ ۖ إِنْ أُمَّهَـٰتُهُمْ إِلَّا ٱلَّـٰٓـِٔى وَلَدْنَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَيَقُولُونَ مُنكَرًا مِّنَ ٱلْقَوْلِ وَزُورًا ۚ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَعَفُوٌّ غَفُورٌ

EnglishSaheeh International
Those who pronounce ẓihār among you [to separate] from their wives - they are not [consequently] their mothers. Their mothers are none but those who gave birth to them. And indeed, they are saying an objectionable statement and a falsehood. But indeed, Allāh is Pardoning and Forgiving.

නුඹලා අතරින් තම බිරියන්ට (කෝපයෙන්) මව යැයි පවසන්නන්හට ඔවුහු මොවුන්ගේ මව්වරුන් නො වෙති. මොවුන්ගේ මව්වරු වනුයේ මොවුන්ව ප්‍රසූත කළ අය මිස නැත. තවද නියත වශයෙන් ම මොවුහු පිළිකුල් සහගත ප්‍රකාශයක් හා මුසාවක් පවසති. තවද නියත වශයෙන් ම අල්ලාහ් නො සලකා හරින්නා ය; අතික්ෂමාශීලී ය.

تم میں سے جو لوگ اپنی بیویوں سے ﻇہار کرتے ہیں (یعنی انہیں ماں کہہ بیٹھتے ہیں) وه دراصل ان کی مائیں نہیں بن جاتیں، ان کی مائیں تو وہی ہیں جن کے بطن سے وه پیدا ہوئے ، یقیناً یہ لوگ ایک نامعقول اور جھوٹی بات کہتے ہیں۔ بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ معاف کرنے واﻻ اور بخشنے واﻻ ہے.

你们中把妻室当母亲的人们,她们不是他们的母亲;除他们的生身之母外,没有任何人,可以称为他们的母亲;他们的确说出恶言和谎话;真主确是至宥的,确是至赦的。

Tafsir of 58:2

Az-Zihar and the Atonement for It Imam Ahmad recorded that Khuwaylah bint Tha`labah said, "By Allah! Allah sent down the beginning of Surat Al-Mujadilah in connection with me and `Aws bin As-Samit. He was my husband and had grown old and difficult. One day, he came to me and I argued with him about something and he said, out of anger, `You are like my mother's back to me.' He went out and sat with some of his people. Then he came back and wanted to have sexual intercourse with me. I said, `No, by the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Khuwaylah! You will not have your way with me after you said what you said, until Allah and His Messenger issue judgement about our case.' He wanted to have his way regardless of my choice and I pushed him away from me; he was an old man.' I next went to one of my neighbors and borrowed a garment from her and went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I told him what happened and kept complaining to him of the ill treatment I received from `Aws.…
