Surah Al-Isra, Verse 93

أَوْ يَكُونَ لَكَ بَيْتٌ مِّن زُخْرُفٍ أَوْ تَرْقَىٰ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَلَن نُّؤْمِنَ لِرُقِيِّكَ حَتَّىٰ تُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْنَا كِتَـٰبًا نَّقْرَؤُهُۥ ۗ قُلْ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّى هَلْ كُنتُ إِلَّا بَشَرًا رَّسُولًا

EnglishSaheeh International
Or you have a house of ornament [i.e., gold] or you ascend into the sky. And [even then], we will not believe in your ascension until you bring down to us a book we may read." Say, "Exalted is my Lord! Was I ever but a human messenger?"

"அல்லது ஒரு தங்கமாளிகை உமக்கு இருந்தாலன்றி (உம் மீது நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளோம்) அல்லது வானத்தின் மீது நீர் ஏறிச் செல்ல வேண்டும், (அங்கிருந்து) எங்களுக்காக நாங்கள் படிக்கக் கூடிய ஒரு (வேத) நூலை நீர் கொண்டு வந்து தரும் வரையில், நீர் (வானத்தில்) ஏறியதையும் நாங்கள் நம்ப மாட்டோம்" என்று கூறுகின்றனர். "என் இறைவன் மிகத் தூயவன், நான் (இறைவனுடைய) தூதனாகிய ஒரு மனிதனே தவிர வேறெதுவுமாக இருக்கின்றேனா?" என்று (நபியே! நீர் பதில்) கூறுவீராக.

නැතහොත් නුඹට රනින් වූ නිවසක් තිබෙන තෙක් හෝ නැතහොත් අහසට නුඹ නැග යන තෙක් හෝ (අපි නුඹව විශ්වාස නො කරන්නේ ම ය.) තවද නුඹ අප වෙත ග්‍රන්ථයක් පහළ කොට එය අපි කිය වන තෙක් නුඹගේ ආරෝහණ ගමන සැබැවින් ම අපි විශ්වාස නො කරන්නෙමු. මාගේ පරමාධිපති සුවිශුද්ධ ය. මම ධර්ම දූතයකු වූ මිනිසෙකු විනා (වෙනත් ස්වරූපයකින්) මම සිටියෙමි දැ? යි (නබිවරය! ඔවුන්ගෙන්) නුඹ විමසනු.

یا آپ کے اپنے لئے کوئی سونے کا گھر ہوجائے یا آپ آسمان پر چڑھ جائیں اور ہم تو آپ کے چڑھ جانے کا بھی اس وقت تک ہرگز یقین نہیں کریں گے جب تک کہ آپ ہم پر کوئی کتاب نہ اتار ﻻئیں جسے ہم خود پڑھ لیں، آپ جواب دے دیں کہ میرا پروردگار پاک ہے میں تو صرف ایک انسان ہی ہوں جو رسول بنایا گیا ہوں.

またはあなたが,黄金(の装飾)の家を持ち,(梯子を踏んで)天に登るまでは。いや,わたしたちに読める啓典を持って下るまで,あなたの昇天をも信じないであろう。」言ってやるがいい。「主に讃えあれ,わたしは使徒として(遺わされた)一人の人間に過ぎないではないか。」

Tafsir of 17:93

The Demand of Quraysh for a specific Sign, and the Rejection of that Ibn Jarir recorded from Muhammad bin Ishaq, "An old man from among the people of Egypt who came to us forty-odd years ago told me, from `Ikrimah, from Ibn `Abbas, that `Utbah and Shaybah -- the two sons of Rabi'ah, Abu Sufyan bin Harb, a man from Bani `Abd Ad-Dar, Abu Al-Bakhtari -- the brother of Bani Asad, Al-Aswad bin Al-Muttalib bin Asad, Zam`ah bin Al-Aswad, Al-Walid bin Al-Mughirah, Abu Jahl bin Hisham, `Abdullah bin Abi Umayyah, Umayyah bin Khalaf, Al-`As bin Wa'il, and Nabih and Munabbih - the two sons of Al-Hajjaj As-Sahmin, gathered all of them or some of them behind the Ka`bah after sunset. Some of them said to others, `Send for Muhammad and talk with him and argue with him, so that nobody will think we are to blame.' So they sent for him saying, `The nobles of your people have gathered for you to speak to them.' So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came quickly, thinking that maybe they were going to change their minds, for he was very keen that they should be guided, and it upset him to see their stubbornness.…
