Quran 33:24

Surah Al-Ahzab, Verse 24

لِّيَجْزِىَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ بِصِدْقِهِمْ وَيُعَذِّبَ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ إِن شَآءَ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا

EnglishSaheeh International
That Allāh may reward the truthful for their truth and punish the hypocrites if He wills or accept their repentance. Indeed, Allāh is ever Forgiving and Merciful.

(මෙය) සත්‍යවාදීන්ට ඔවුන්ගේ සත්‍යභාවය හේතුවෙන් අල්ලාහ් ප්‍රතිඵල පිරිනමනු පිණිස ය. එමෙන් ම ඔහු අභිමත කළේ නම් කුහකයින්ට දඬුවම් කරනු පිණිස ය. එසේ නැතහොත් ඔවුන් වෙත සමාව දීම පිණිස ය. නියත වශයෙන් ම අල්ලාහ් අතික්ෂමාශීලී, මහාකරුණාන්විත විය.

تاکہ اللہ تعالیٰ سچوں کو ان کی سچائی کا بدلہ دے اور اگر چاہے تو منافقوں کو سزا دے یا ان کی توبہ قبول فرمائے ، اللہ تعالیٰ بڑا ہی بخشنے واﻻ بہت ہی مہربان ہے.

以便真主因诚实者的诚实而善报他们,并且随意地惩罚伪信者,或赦宥他们。真主确是至赦的,确是至慈的。

Tafsir of 33:24

Praise for the Believers' Attitude, and leaving the ultimate Fate of the Hypocrites to Allah When Allah mentions how the hypocrites broke their promise to Him that they would not turn their backs, He describes the believers as firmly adhering to their covenant and their promise: صَدَقُواْ مَا عَهَدُواْ اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُمْ مَّن قَضَى نَحْبَهُ (they have been true to their covenant with Allah; of them some have fulfilled their Nahbah;) Some of them said: "Met their appointed time (i.e., death)." Al-Bukhari said, "Their covenant, and refers back to the beginning of the Ayah." وَمِنْهُمْ مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُواْ تَبْدِيلاً (and some of them are still waiting, but they have never changed in the least.) means, they have never changed or broken their covenant with Allah. Al-Bukhari recorded that Zayd bin Thabit said: "When we wrote down the Mushaf, an Ayah from Surat Al-Ahzab was missing, which I used to hear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reciting. I did not find it with anyone except Khuzaymah bin Thabit Al-Ansari, may Allah be pleased with him, whose testimony the Messenger of Allah ﷺ counted as equal to that of two other men.…
