قَالَ رَبِّ ٱلسِّجْنُ أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ مِمَّا يَدْعُونَنِىٓ إِلَيْهِ ۖ وَإِلَّا تَصْرِفْ عَنِّى كَيْدَهُنَّ أَصْبُ إِلَيْهِنَّ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْجَـٰهِلِينَ

EnglishSaheeh International
He said, "My Lord, prison is more to my liking than that to which they invite me. And if You do not avert from me their plan, I might incline toward them and [thus] be of the ignorant."

(அதற்கு) அவர், "என் இறைவனே! இவர்கள் என்னை எதன் பக்கம் அழைக்கிறார்களோ, அ(த்தீய)தை விடச் சிறைக்கூடமே எனக்கு அதிக விருப்பமுடையதாகும்; இவர்களின் சதியை விட்டு நீ என்னைக் காப்பாற்றவில்லையானால், நான் இவர்கள் பால் சாய்ந்து (பாவத்தால்) அறிவில்லாதவர்களில் ஒருவனாகிவிடுவேன்" என்று (பிரார்த்தித்தவராக) கூறினார்.

‘මාගේ පරමාධිපතියාණනි! ඔවුන් කවර දෙයක් වෙත මා කැඳවන්නේ ද ඊට වඩා සිරගත වීම මට ප්‍රිය මනාප ය. ඔවුන්ගේ උපායෙන් නුඹ මා වෙනතකට නො හරවන්නේ නම් ඔවුන් වෙත මම හසුවන්නෙමි. තවද මම අඥානයින් අතරින් වෙමි’ යැයි ඔහු පැවසුවේ ය.

یوسف نے دعا کی کہ اے میرے پروردگار! جس بات کی طرف یہ عورتیں مجھے بلا رہی ہیں اس سے تو مجھے جیل خانہ بہت پسند ہے، اگر تو نے ان کا فن فریب مجھ سے دور نہ کیا تو میں تو ان کی طرف مائل ہو جاؤں گا اور بالکل نادانوں میں جا ملوں گا.

かれ(ユースフ)は言った。「主よ,わたしはかの女たちが誘惑するものよりも,牢獄が向いています。あなたがもしかの女たちの悪企みを,わたしから取り除いて下さらなければ,わたしは(若年の弱さで)かの女たちに傾いて,無道な者になるでしょう。」

Tafsir of 12:33

The News reaches Women in the City, Who also plot against Yusuf Allah states that the news of what happened between the wife of the `Aziz and Yusuf spread in the city, that is, Egypt, and people talked about it, وَقَالَ نِسْوَةٌ فِى الْمَدِينَةِ (And women in the city said...), such as women of chiefs and princes said, while admonishing and criticizing the wife of the `Aziz, امْرَأَتُ الْعَزِيزِ تُرَاوِدُ فَتَهَا عَن نَّفْسِهِ (The wife of the `Aziz is seeking to seduce her (slave) young man,), she is luring her servant to have sex with her, قَدْ شَغَفَهَا حُبًّا (indeed she loves him violently;), her love for him filled her heart and engulfed it, إِنَّا لَنَرَاهَا فِى ضَلَلٍ مُّبِينٍ (verily, we see her in plain error.), by loving him and trying to seduce him. فَلَمَّا سَمِعَتْ بِمَكْرِهِنَّ (So when she heard of their accusation,) especially their statement, "indeed she loves him violently." Muhammad bin Ishaq commented, "They heard of Yusuf's beauty and wanted to see him, so they said these words in order to get a look at him.…
