قَالَ بَصُرْتُ بِمَا لَمْ يَبْصُرُوا۟ بِهِۦ فَقَبَضْتُ قَبْضَةً مِّنْ أَثَرِ ٱلرَّسُولِ فَنَبَذْتُهَا وَكَذَٰلِكَ سَوَّلَتْ لِى نَفْسِى

EnglishSaheeh International
He said, "I saw what they did not see, so I took a handful [of dust] from the track of the messenger and threw it, and thus did my soul entice me."

"அவர்கள் காணாத ஒன்றை நான் கண்டேன்; ஆகவே, நான் அந்த தூதர் காலடியிலிருந்து ஒரு பிடி (மண்ணாகப்) பிடித்து, அதை எறிந்தேன்; அவ்விதம் (செய்வதை) என் மனம் எனக்கு அழகா(ன செயலா)க ஆக்கிற்று" என (ஸாமிரீ பதில்) சொன்னான்.

ඔවුන් කවර කරුණක් නො දුටුවේ ද එවැන්නක් මම දුටුවෙමි. එවිට මා රසූල්වරයාගේ පා සලකුණින් (වැලි) අහුරක් අහුරා ගෙන පසුව එය මා (ඒ මත) විසි කළෙමි. එලෙසය මා වෙත මාගේ සිත අලංකාරවත් කළේ යැයි ඔහු (සාමිරි මූසාට) පැවසී ය.

اس نے جواب دیا کہ مجھے وه چیز دکھائی دی جو انہیں دکھائی نہیں دی، تو میں نے فرستادہٴ الٰہی کے نقش قدم سے ایک مٹھی بھر لی اسے اس میں ڈال دیا اسی طرح میرے دل نے یہ بات میرے لئے بھلی بنا دی.

他说:我曾见他们所未见的,我从使者的遗迹上握了一把土, 而我把它抛下去,我的私欲那样怂恿我。

Tafsir of 20:96

How As-Samiri made the Calf Musa said to As-Samiri, "What caused you to do what you did What presented such an idea to you causing you to do this" Muhammad bin Ishaq reported from Ibn `Abbas that he said, "As-Samiri was a man from the people of Bajarma, a people who worshipped cows. He still had the love of cow worshipping in his soul. However, he acted as though he had accepted Islam with the Children of Israel. His name was Musa bin Zafar." Qatadah said, "He was from the village of Samarra." قَالَ بَصُرْتُ بِمَا لَمْ يَبْصُرُواْ بِهِ ((Samiri) said: "I saw what they saw not.") This means, "I saw Jibril when he came to destroy Fir`awn." فَقَبَضْتُ قَبْضَةً مِّنْ أَثَرِ الرَّسُولِ (so I took a handful (Qabdah) from the print of the messenger) This means from the hoof print of his (Jibril's) horse. This is what is well-known with many of the scholars of Tafsir, rather most of them.…
