قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَخْلَفْنَا مَوْعِدَكَ بِمَلْكِنَا وَلَـٰكِنَّا حُمِّلْنَآ أَوْزَارًا مِّن زِينَةِ ٱلْقَوْمِ فَقَذَفْنَـٰهَا فَكَذَٰلِكَ أَلْقَى ٱلسَّامِرِىُّ

EnglishSaheeh International
They said, "We did not break our promise to you by our will, but we were made to carry burdens from the ornaments of the people [of Pharaoh], so we threw them [into the fire], and thus did the Sāmirī throw."

"உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்திருந்த வாக்குறுதிக்கு எங்கள் சக்தியைக் கொண்டு நாங்கள் மாறு செய்யவில்லை ஆனால் நாங்கள் சமூகத்தாரின் அலங்கார (ஆபரண)ங் களிலிருந்து சில சுமைகள் (கொண்டு) சுமத்தப்பட்டோம்; பிறகு, நாங்கள் அவற்றை(க் கழற்றி நெருப்பில்) எறிந்தோம்; அவ்வாறே ஸாமிரியும் எறிந்தான்" என்று அவர்கள் கூறினார்கள்.

අපගේ කැමැත්තෙන් නුඹගේ ප්‍රතිඥාවට අපි විරුද්ධ නො වූයෙමු. එනමුත් ජනයාගේ අලංකාරයෙන් පිරුණු (ආභරණ) බර අප මත පට වන ලදි. එහෙයින් අපි ඒවා (ගින්නට) දැමුවෙමු. එසේ ම සාමිරී ද දැමුවේය යැයි ඔවුහු පැවසුවෝ ය.

انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ ہم نے اپنےاختیار سے آپ کے ساتھ وعدے کا خلاف نہیں کیا ۔ بلکہ ہم پر زیورات قوم کے جو بوجھ ﻻد دیے گئے تھے انہیں ہم نے ڈال دیا، اور اسی طرح سامری نے بھی ڈال دیئے.

他们说:我们没有自愿地违背对你的约言, 但我们把(埃及人的)许多首饰携带出来,觉得很沉重,我们就抛下了那些首饰,撒米里也同样抛下了(他所携带的首饰)。

Tafsir of 20:87

Musa goes to the Appointment with Allah and the Children of Israel succumb to worship the Calf Allah relates what happened when Musa traveled with the Children of Israel after Fir`awn's destruction. فَأَتَوْاْ عَلَى قَوْمٍ يَعْكُفُونَ عَلَى أَصْنَامٍ لَّهُمْ قَالُواْ يَمُوسَى اجْعَلْ لَّنَآ إِلَهًا كَمَا لَهُمْ ءَالِهَةٌ قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ تَجْهَلُونَ إِنَّ هَؤُلآء مُتَبَّرٌ مَّا هُمْ فِيهِ وَبَطِلٌ مَّا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ- (And they came upon a people devoted to some of idols. They said: "O Musa! Make for us god as they have gods." He said: "Verily, you are a people who know not. Verily, these people will be destroyed for that which they are engaged in. And all that they are doing is in vain.") 7:138-139 Then, Allah made a covenant with Musa of thirty nights after which He added to them ten more nights. Thus, they were forty nights in all. The covenant was that he was to fast these number of days, during both the day and night. Thus, Musa made haste to go to the Mountain and he left his brother, Harun, in charge over the Children of Israel.…
