قَالُوا۟ لَن نُّؤْثِرَكَ عَلَىٰ مَا جَآءَنَا مِنَ ٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ وَٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنَا ۖ فَٱقْضِ مَآ أَنتَ قَاضٍ ۖ إِنَّمَا تَقْضِى هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَآ

EnglishSaheeh International
They said, "Never will we prefer you over what has come to us of clear proofs and [over] He who created us. So decree whatever you are to decree. You can only decree for this worldly life.

(மனந்திருந்திய அவர்கள் ஃபிர்அவ்னிடம்) "எங்களுக்கு வந்துள்ள தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகளை விடவும், எங்களைப் படைத்தவனை விடவும் உன்னை (மேலானவனாக) நாங்கள் எடுத்துக் கொள்ள மாட்டோம்; ஆகவே என்ன தீர்ப்புச் செய்ய நீ இருக்கிறாயோ அவ்வாறே தீர்ப்புச் செய்துகொள்; நீ தீர்ப்புச் செய்வதெல்லாம் இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையில் தான்" என்று கூறினார்.

අප වෙත පැමිණි පැහැදිලි සාධක හා අප මැවූ අයට වඩා ඉහළින් අපි නුඹ කිසිවටෙක තෝරා නො ගන්නෙමු. එහෙයින් නුඹ තීන්දු කරන දෑ තීන්දු කරනු. නුඹ තීන්දු කරනුයේ මෙලොව ජීවිතය පිළිබඳ පමණය යැයි ඔවුහු (ෆිර්අව්න් අමතා) පැවැසූහ.

انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ ناممکن ہے کہ ہم تجھے ترجیح دیں ان دلیلوں پر جو ہمارے سامنے آچکیں اور اس اللہ پر جس نے ہمیں پیدا کیا ہے اب تو تو جو کچھ کرنے وﻻ ہے کر گزر، تو جو کچھ بھی حکم چلا سکتا ہے وه اسی دنیوی زندگی میں ہی ہے.

Tafsir of 20:72

Fir`awn's turning against the Magicians, His threatening Them and Their Reply Allah, the Exalted, informs of Fir`awn's disbelief, obstinance, transgression and haughtiness against the truth in favor of falsehood. When he saw what he saw of the magnificent miracle and the great sign, and he saw those whose help he sought accept faith in the presence of all of the people, and he was absolutely defeated, he began to behave arrogantly and cast accusations. He resorted to using his esteemed honor and might against the magicians. He warned them and threatened them saying, ءَامَنتُمْ لَهُ (Believe you in him (Musa)) This means, "Do you have faith in him" قَبْلَ أَنْ ءَاذَنَ لَكُمْ (before I give you permission) meaning, "I have not commanded you to do so, by which you have rebelled against me." Then he said a statement that he, the magicians and all creatures knew was a forgery and an utter lie.…
