Quran 16:94

Surah An-Nahl, Verse 94

وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوٓا۟ أَيْمَـٰنَكُمْ دَخَلًۢا بَيْنَكُمْ فَتَزِلَّ قَدَمٌۢ بَعْدَ ثُبُوتِهَا وَتَذُوقُوا۟ ٱلسُّوٓءَ بِمَا صَدَدتُّمْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَلَكُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ

EnglishSaheeh International
And do not take your oaths as [means of] deceit between you, lest a foot slip after it was [once] firm, and you would taste evil [in this world] for what [people] you diverted from the way of Allāh, and you would have [in the Hereafter] a great punishment.

நீங்கள் உங்கள் சத்தியங்களை உங்களுக்கிடையில் (சதி, துரோகம்) ஆகியவற்றுக்குக் காரணமாக ஆக்கிக் கொள்ளாதீர்கள்; (அவ்வாறு செய்வதால்) நிலை பெற்ற (உங்களுடைய) பாதம் சறுகி விடும்; அன்றியும், நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையை விட்டும் (மக்களைத்) தடுத்துக்கொண்டிருந்த காரணத்தால், (இம்மையில் பெருந்) துன்பத்தை அனுபவிக்க நேரிடும்; (மறுமையிலும்) உங்களுக்குக் கடுமையான வேதனையும் உண்டு.

තවද නුඹලාගේ දිවුරුම් (වංචා සහගත ලෙස) නුඹලා අතර ප්‍රවේශයක් වශයෙන් නුඹලා නො ගනු. එවිට නුඹලාගේ පාද එය ස්ථීරව තැබූ පසුව ලිස්සා යනු ඇත. තවද නුඹලා අල්ලාහ්ගේ මාර්ගයෙන් අවහිර කළ බැවින් නුඹලා නපුර භුක්ති විඳිනු ඇත. තවද නුඹලාට අතිමහත් දඬුවමක් ඇත.

اور تم اپنی قسموں کو آپس کی دغابازی کا بہانہ نہ بناؤ۔ پھر تو تمہارے قدم اپنی مضبوطی کے بعد ڈگمگا جائیں گے اور تمہیں سخت سزا برداشت کرنا پڑے گی کیونکہ تم نے اللہ کی راه سے روک دیا اور تمہیں بڑا سخت عذاب ہوگا.

Tafsir of 16:94

If Allah had willed, He would have made all of Humanity one Nation Allah says: وَلَوْ شَآءَ اللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ (And had Allah willed, He would have made you) meaning - O mankind, أُمَّةً وَحِدَةً ((all) one nation,) This is like the Ayah: وَلَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ لآمَنَ مَن فِى الاٌّرْضِ كُلُّهُمْ جَمِيعًا (And had your Lord willed, all of those on earth would have believed together.) 10:99, meaning, He could have created harmony among them, and there would not be any differences, conflicts or hatred between them. وَلَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ لَجَعَلَ النَّاسَ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلاَ يَزَالُونَ مُخْتَلِفِينَ إِلاَّ مَن رَّحِمَ رَبُّكَ وَلِذلِكَ خَلَقَهُمْ (And if your Lord had so willed, He would surely, have made mankind one Ummah nation or community, but they will not cease to disagree. Except him on whom your Lord has bestowed His mercy, and for that did He create them.) (11:118-119) Similarly, Allah says here: وَلكِن يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ (but He allows whom He wills to stray and He guides whom He wills.…
