Surah An-Nahl, Verse 14

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى سَخَّرَ ٱلْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُوا۟ مِنْهُ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُوا۟ مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى ٱلْفُلْكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

EnglishSaheeh International
And it is He who subjected the sea for you to eat from it tender meat and to extract from it ornaments which you wear. And you see the ships plowing through it, and [He subjected it] that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful.

நீங்கள் கடலிலிருந்து நய(மும், சுவையு)முள்ள மீன் போன்ற மாமிசத்தை புசிப்பதற்காகவும், நீங்கள் அணிந்து கொள்ளக்கூடிய ஆபரணத்தை அதிலிருந்து நீங்கள் வெளிப்படுத்தவும் அவன் தான் அதனையும் (கடலையும்) வசப்படுத்தித் தந்தான்; இன்னும் அதில் தண்ணீரைப் பிளந்து கொண்டு செல்லும் கப்பலை நீங்கள் காணுகிறீர்கள்; (பல்வேறு இடங்களுக்குச் சென்று) அவன் அருட்கொடையை நீங்கள் தேடவும், நீங்கள் நன்றி செலுத்தும் பொருட்டும் (அதை) இவ்வாறு வசப்படுத்திக் கொடுத்தான்.

තවද ඔහු වනාහි මහ මුහුද නුඹලා එයින් නැවුම් මස් අනුභව කරනු පිණිස ද නුඹලා පලඳින ආභරණ එයින් ගොඩ ගනු පිණිස ද වසඟ කර දුන්නේ ය. තවද එහි (රළ) හාන නැව් ද නුඹ දකිනු ඇත. එමෙන් ම ඔහුගේ භාග්‍යය නුඹලා සොයනු පිණිස ද වේ. තවද (එය) නුඹලා කෘතවේදී විය හැකි වනු පිණිස ය.

اور دریا بھی اسی نے تمہارے بس میں کر دیے ہیں کہ تم اس میں سے (نکلا ہوا) تازه گوشت کھاؤ اور اس میں سے اپنے پہننے کے زیورات نکال سکو اور تم دیکھتے ہو کہ کشتیاں اس میں پانی چیرتی ہوئی (چلتی) ہیں اور اس لیے بھی کہ تم اس کا فضل تلاش کرو اور ہوسکتا ہے کہ تم شکر گزاری بھی کرو.

かれこそは,海洋を(人間に)使役させられる方で,それによってあなたかたは鮮魚を食べ,また服飾に用いられるものをそれから採り,またかれの恩恵を求めて,その中に波を切って進む船を見る。必ずあなたがたは感謝するであろう。

他制服海洋,以便你们渔取其中的鲜肉,做你们的食品;或采取其中的珠宝,做你们的装饰。你看船舶在其中破浪而行,以便你们寻求他的恩惠,以便你们感谢。

Tafsir of 16:14

Signs in the Oceans, Mountains, Rivers, Roads and Stars Allah tells us how He has subjected the seas, with their waves lapping the shores, and how He blesses His servants by subjecting the seas for them so that they may travel on them, and by putting fish and whales in them, by making their flesh permissible to eat - whether they are caught alive or dead - at all times, including when people are in a state of Ihram. He has created pearls and precious jewels in the oceans, and made it easy for His servants to recover ornaments that they can wear from the ocean floor. He made the sea such that it carries the ships which plow through it. He is the One Who taught mankind to make ships, which is the inheritance of their forefather Nuh. He was the first one to travel by ship, he was taught how to make them, then people took this knowledge from him and passed it down from generation to generation through the centuries, so that they could travel from country to country and from place to place, bringing goods from here to there and from there to here.…
