فَمَن تَابَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ظُلْمِهِۦ وَأَصْلَحَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

EnglishSaheeh International
But whoever repents after his wrongdoing and reforms, indeed, Allāh will turn to him in forgiveness. Indeed, Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful.

எவரேனும், தம் தீ; ச்செயலுக்காக மனம் வருந்தித் தம்மைச் சீர் திருத்திக் கொண்டால் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (அவர் தவ்பாவை ஏற்று) மன்னிக்கிறான். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிகவும் மன்னிப்போனாகவும், கருணையுடையோனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

Tafsir of 5:39

The Necessity of Cutting off the Hand of the Thief Allah commands and decrees that the hand of the thief, male or female be cut off. During the time of Jahiliyyah, this was also the punishment for the thief, and Islam upheld this punishment. In Islam, there are several conditions that must be met before this punishment is carried out, as we will come to know, Allah willing. There are other rulings that Islam upheld after modifying these rulings, such as that of blood money for example.…
