Quran 6:76

Surah Al-An'am, Verse 76

فَلَمَّا جَنَّ عَلَيْهِ ٱلَّيْلُ رَءَا كَوْكَبًا ۖ قَالَ هَـٰذَا رَبِّى ۖ فَلَمَّآ أَفَلَ قَالَ لَآ أُحِبُّ ٱلْـَٔافِلِينَ

EnglishSaheeh International
So when the night covered him [with darkness], he saw a star. He said, "This is my lord." But when it set, he said, "I like not those that set [i.e., disappear]."

ஆகவே அவரை இரவு மூடிக் கொண்டபோது அவர் ஒரு நட்சத்திரத்தைப் பார்த்தார்; "இதுதான் என் இறைவன்!" என்று கூறினார்; ஆனால் அது மறைந்த போது அவர், "நான் மறையக் கூடியவற்றை நேசிக்க மாட்டேன்" என்று சொன்னார்.

当黑夜笼罩著他的时候,他看见一颗星宿,就说:这是我的主。当那颗星宿没落的时候,他说:我不爱没落的。

Tafsir of 6:76

Ibrahim Advises his Father Ibrahim advised, discouraged and forbade his father from worshipping idols, just as Allah stated, وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَهِيمُ لاًّبِيهِ ءَازَرَ أَتَتَّخِذُ أَصْنَاماً ءَالِهَةً (And (remember) when Ibrahim said to his father Azar: "Do you take idols as gods") meaning, do you worship an idol instead of Allah إِنِّى أَرَاكَ وَقَوْمَكَ (Verily, I see you and your people...) who follow your path, فِى ضَلَلٍ مُّبِينٍ (in manifest error) wandering in confusion unaware of where to go. Therefore, you are in disarray and ignorance, and this fact is clear to all those who have sound reason.…
