وَإِذْ صَرَفْنَآ إِلَيْكَ نَفَرًا مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ يَسْتَمِعُونَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ فَلَمَّا حَضَرُوهُ قَالُوٓا۟ أَنصِتُوا۟ ۖ فَلَمَّا قُضِىَ وَلَّوْا۟ إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِم مُّنذِرِينَ

EnglishSaheeh International
And [mention, O Muḥammad], when We directed to you a few of the jinn, listening to the Qur’ān. And when they attended it, they said, "Listen attentively." And when it was concluded, they went back to their people as warners.

மேலும் (நபியே!) நாம் உம்மிடம் இந்த குர்ஆனை செவியுறும் பொருட்டு ஜின்களில் சிலரை திருப்பியதும், அவர்கள் அங்கு வந்த போது, "மெளனமாக இருங்கள்" என்று (மற்றவர்களுக்குச்) சொன்னார்கள்; (ஓதுதல்) முடிந்ததும் தம் இனத்தாரிடம் சென்று அவர்களை அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்தனர்.

තවද අප නුඹ වෙත අල් කුර්ආනය සවන් දෙන්නට ජින් වර්ගයාගෙන් පිරිසක් යොමු කළ අවස්ථාව සිහිපත් කරනු. එවිට ඔවුන් ඔහු වෙත පැමිණි කල්හි “නුඹලා නිහඬව සවන් දෙනු” යැයි ඔවුහු පැවසුවෝ ය. පසුව (පාරායනය)අවසන් වූ කල්හි ඔවුහු තම සමූහයා වෙත අවවාද කරන්නන් ලෙස හැරී ගියහ.

اور یاد کرو! جبکہ ہم نے جنوں کی ایک جماعت کو تیری طرف متوجہ کیا کہ وه قرآن سنیں، پس جب (نبی کے) پاس پہنچ گئے تو (ایک دوسرے سے) کہنے لگے خاموش ہو جاؤ ، پھر جب پڑھ کر ختم ہوگیا تو اپنی قوم کو خبردار کرنے کے لئے واپس لوٹ گئے.

Tafsir of 46:29

The Story of the Jinns listening to the Qur'an Imam Ahmad recorded from Az-Zubayr that he commented on the Ayah; وَإِذْ صَرَفْنَآ إِلَيْكَ نَفَراً مِّنَ الْجِنِّ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقُرْءَانَ (And (remember) when We sent towards you a group of the Jinn, to listen to the Qur'an.) "They were at a place called Nakhlah while Allah's Messenger ﷺ was performing the `Isha' prayer, and كَادُواْ يَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِ لِبَداً (they crowded on top of each other to hear him.) (72:19)" Sufyan said, "They stood on top of each other like piled wool." Ahmad was alone in recording this. Imam Ahmad and the famous Imam, Al-Hafiz Abu Bakr Al-Bayhaqi in his book Dala'il An-Nubuwwah, both recorded that Ibn `Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, said, "Allah's Messenger ﷺ never recited Qur'an to the Jinns, nor did he see them. Allah's Messenger ﷺ was heading with a group of his Companions towards the `Ukaz market. At that time, the devils had been prevented from eavesdropping on the news of the heavens, and they were being attacked by burning flames (whenever they tried to listen).…
