وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا مَا حَوْلَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرَىٰ وَصَرَّفْنَا ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ

EnglishSaheeh International: And We have already destroyed what surrounds you of [those] cities, and We have diversified the signs [or verses] that perhaps they might return [from disbelief].
TamilJan Trust Foundation: அன்றியும், உங்களைச் சுற்றி இருந்த ஊ(ரா)ர்களையும் திடமாக நாம் அழித்திருக்கிறோம், அவர்கள் (நேர்வழிக்கு) மீளும் பொருட்டு நாம் (அவர்களுக்குப்) பல அத்தாட்சிகளைத் திருப்பித் திருப்பிக் காண்பித்தோம்.
SinhalaRuwwad Center: තවද නුඹලා අවට පිහිටි ගම්මාන (රාශියක්) සැබැවින් ම අපි විනාශ කළෙමු. ඔවුන් නැවත යොමු විය හැකි වනු පිණිස එම සංඥා අපි විවිධාකාරයෙන් ගෙන හැර පෑවෙමු.
UrduMaulana Muhammad Junagarhi: اور یقیناً ہم نے تمہارے آس پاس کی بستیاں تباه کر دیں اور طرح طرح کی ہم نے اپنی نشانیاں بیان کر دیں تاکہ وه رجوع کر لیں.
JapaneseRyoichi Mita: 本当にわれはあなたがたの周囲の数々の町村を滅ぼし，わが印を示した。（それで）かれらが（われに）帰る（ように）。
ChineseMa Jian: 我确已毁灭你们四邻的城市。我反复昭示各种迹象，以便他们悔悟。

Tafsir of 46:27

وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ سَمْعاً وَأَبْصَراً وَأَفْئِدَةً فَمَآ أَغْنَى عَنْهُمْ سَمْعُهُمْ وَلاَ أَبْصَرُهُمْ وَلاَ أَفْئِدَتُهُمْ مِّن شَىْءٍ إِذْ كَانُواْ يَجْحَدُونَ بَِايَتِ اللَّهِ وَحَاقَ بِهم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ (We also gave them hearing, vision, and hearts. But their hearing, vision, and hearts availed them nothing when they used to deny Allah's signs, and they were completely encircled by that which they used to ridicule!) meaning, they were encircled by the torment and exemplary punishment that they denied and whose occurrence they doubted. This means, you listeners must beware of being like them lest a punishment similar to theirs strikes you in this life and the Hereafter. Allah then says, وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا مَا حَوْلَكُمْ مِّنَ الْقُرَى (And indeed We have destroyed towns round about you, ) This is addressed to the people of Makkah.…
